World chocolate day

World chocolate day

Chocolate is one of the most widely consumed foods in the world. In fact, you can find chocolate in countless formats, flavors and varieties. Faced with a product so adored by the vast majority of the population, it is inevitable that there will be a “Word Chocolate Day”.

Word Chocolate Day is known as the international chocolate day. This day is celebrated internationally on July 7. The reason for celebrating it on this day is because it refers to the day chocolate was introduced to Europe in 1550.

Advantages of chocolate

Because the melting point of the cocoa butter is slightly lower than our body temperature, most experience it as a pleasant feeling when chocolate melts in the mouth. The main element of chocolate is cocoa and without a doubt, it has very good properties for our health. It is best to eat raw chocolate or as pure as possible, minus 75% cocoa. Please note! Chocolate is and remains high in calories, even pure!

In addition to the health benefits of consuming cocoa, there is a psychological aspect associated with consuming chocolate. Does chocolate make you happy? Surely you have asked yourself this question many times. This is because we usually hear that to alleviate the “pain”we consume chocolate.

The large number of varieties of chocolate means that you can find something for all tastes. Research into the popularity of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and cocoa powder has previously shown that milk chocolate is the most popular type of chocolate.

Reduce the cholesterol

Chocolate helps you reduce your cholesterol level, since cocoa has oleic acid and this component contributes greatly to it. Cocoa powder, dark, extra bitter chocolate, raw cocoa powder and raw chocolate have a beneficial effect on the blood vessels due to the high content of flavanols (antioxidants).

It’s satiating

An outstanding aspect of chocolate is that, even if you eat small amounts, it can have a very important satiating effect. Dark chocolate contains a lot of fiber and iron.

It is anti depressive

Consuming dark chocolate helps reduce stress levels in the body. In this way, it helps improve concentration and memory. The component responsible for this stress reduction is serotonin. Its consumption promotes the production of endorphins that are responsible for hormones associated with pleasure.

If you are a chocolate lover, enjoy to the fullest but in moderation…

You still doubt whether chocolate makes you happy? Without a doubt, a food with so many properties and such a rich flavor deserves a Word Chocolate Day in style.
